Pudgy Penguins Featured on F1 Singapore Rear Wing
Atlassian Williams Racing and Kraken have revealed a new rear wing design for Singapore Grand Prix, starring Pudgy Penguins.
The brightly-coloured design celebratesPENGU - this year's memecoin showdown winner.
PENGU won the coveted spot, after being named Kraken’s most traded memecoin between 8 July and 8 August.
James Southerland, Director of Partnerships at Atlassian Williams Racing, said: "From Fan Zones and the Grid Pass digital collectibles to our annual Rear Wing Takeovers, our partnership with Kraken has redefined fan engagement in Formula 1 both on and offline.
PENGU was a popular winner of our memecoin showdown and we look forward to having Pudgy Penguin on the car in Singapore."
Lou Frangella, Global Head of Brand Partnerships at Kraken, said: “Kraken’s partnership with Williams Racing has always been rooted in our mission to accelerate the adoption of crypto. The Rear Wing Memecoin Showdown was a celebration of that spirit, showcasing the creativity and passion that define both Formula 1 fans and crypto communities and giving them the power to determine the outcome.
PENGU’s win is a testament to the impact of a focused, enthusiastic community, and we’re proud to see that energy represented on the rear wing of the FW47 in Singapore. Alongside strong performances from DOG and BONK, this contest highlights how communities can drive impact not only on-chain but also on the world stage.”
